2020 Season
The inaugural season of the league started after some of us wanted to get a Dynasty league started up after we felt we wanted something a little different compared to the redraft league. The 10 original teams were as follows:
- Brk
- Beck
- Pinger
- Smigs
- Kyle S
- Big E
- Harbi
- Bullski
- Jake
- Barrett
Lots of drama during the season especially after Harbi made some questionable trades with Brk and Jake trading away lots of good players. More drama was induced when Barrett started sitting Deandre Hopkins to help improve his draft position which then forced a league vote to do draft order based on Max Point’s Forced. Jake wound up winning the league and Bullski took home the sacko. After the season Big E announced his retirement and Barrett was forced out of the league after a bit of a tussle with the commissioner over money and other things as well.
2021 Season
To start the new season we put the former teams of Big E and Barrett into a pool and had our two new league members Matzke and Quan draft their teams. After the draft we learned that Quan had no clue who Josh Allen (The QB) was. Quan was then removed from the league and Pinger’s brother Shane was invited to take over the team that Quan drafted.
The offseason was an absolute arms race. Between January and the start of the season there was 29 trades and most involved Brk, Beck, Jake, Shane, and Pinger.
Shane was trying to rebuild a shit team and the other 4 were gunning for the championship. In an all-time fleece, Jamarr Chase was traded from Bullski to Shane for a paper clip and some pocket lint.
During the season one of the major fights was that the divisions were not fair and that one was more stacked then the other one. Other then that there was not many issues within the league. At the end of it all Beck won it all, something Smigs has never done, and Harbi was Sacko.
2022 Season
To start off the new league year we voted to remove Harbi from the league as he was not active enough for the league as he would take months to respond to trades or messages and multiple times he did not set a full lineup. To replace him we added in the first member who did not go to AHS in Kyle Haener. One of the big rule changes was to get rid of divisions. There wasn’t much of an arms race during the offseason this time.
The regular season went without a hiccup and was one of the better seasons for the league in total. Jake took back the trophy and Brk took home Sacko.
2023 Season
The first season in which the 10 teams from the previous season all were back for another go around at taking home the Johnny C Memorial Trophy. Lots of teams thought they had a real chance to win it all and would end up buying in season then deciding to sell at the deadline (like Brk) and New Kyle went full on tank mode before the deadline so he could catch up to Bullski to secure the first pick and the rights to take MHJ but that did not bode well in the end. The last week of regular season had a lot of drama as there was a total of 7 teams still in the hunt to get a playoff spot. Those 4 ended up being Smigs, Shane, OG Kyle, and Pinger who barely squeaked by Bullski to secure the final spot, winning with just 74 pts. OG Kyle would go on to claim the championship becoming the first winner not named Jake or Beck and Bullski became the first two time Sacko.
